The TCC Mini Soccer Program is run completely by parent volunteers and TCC. Prior to registration, if you are interested in being a convenor please contact the TCC board. If you are interested in being a coach, assistant coach or convenor please sign up at registration.
If you register late, a $25 late fee will be added onto the registration fee and your child will be placed on a waiting list. Once teams are formed (from on time registrations) they will be placed on a team if a spot is available, there are NO GUARANTEES.
In April, coaching clinics will be offered through Manitoba Soccer Association (cost will be covered by TCC).
Convenors will decide if a game is cancelled due to weather conditions. Check your email frequently starting at 4:00pm, you will be contacted if the game is cancelled. Please do not email your convenor.
The TCC U9-U18 soccer program falls under the Winnipeg South End United (WSEU) recreational division. It is then governed by Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) and ultimately by Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA). The WSEU recreational division includes the following community centres - Tuxedo, Corydon, LIndenwoods, Whyte Ridge, South Winnipeg, St. Norbert, Riverview, Earl Grey, La Salle and the school St John’s Ravencourt. Although registration takes place through TCC, your child is not guaranteed to play on a Tuxedo team. At the end of March, an inter-Community Centre Swap meet is attended by all the convenors of the previously listed CC and teams are formed based on numbers and the availability of coaches. For example, for an age group of children at TCC, if there is no coach, then the TCC players will be sent to other CC that have coaches for the season. If there is a volunteer coach from Tuxedo for an age group, it is likely that TCC can host a team even if there are not enough registered TCC players. In this case, players from other CC, would be brought in to play out of TCC. To note, TCC players will never play out of La Salle, St. Norbert or SJR.
